Since I am replacing my rotors I am also going to put new pads on my 83 gl1100.
Looking through the forum I can not find any thread on pads. I know there has to be one or two...

What pads should I get for my 83 gl1100?
Thanks for any response

Have a look down below the last post in this thread at "similar topics". I see 5 threads about brakes.
When viewing them there will be additional similar topics down there.

The master has spoken.

Just sayin that similar topics usually works pretty good. Most times better than the search function.

Just for this thread, I checked my pads. I used kevlar organic pads all the way around, but from different sellers. The front brake pads are wearing much faster than the back pads even though I do fairly even braking. The rear pads were from an ebay seller that another member recommended named Sixity. Those pads are holding up 10 times better with very little wear. The two sets were not the same and the Sixity pads are the winners!

Thank you Mc govern. I have been waiting for a reasonable response to my question. Because of you I have just ordered a complete set to put on after I get my rotor in the mail.

I wished the search button would give the similar topics lists.
Can not believe I am changing pads again so soon.
Did you use the kevlar organic pads last time?
