Have read that charging output on a Gl1100 should be the following:
1.500rpm - 12.2 to 13.0 volts + 2 to 5 amps.
2.500rpm - 12.8 to 13.8 volts + 3 to 8 amps.
3.500rpm - 13.0 to 14.5 volts + 5 to 20 amps
Are these values correct :headscratch: :headscratch:

That looks about right, Carl though some say they're getting 14-14.5 at idle. That could be with no load.

Whatcha workin on?
Since I've purchase the new battery just wanting to make sure I won't toast it.I'll have some measurements out with a digital multimeter.

Ok i'm back with the measurements wich are the following:

1.500rpm oscillating between 15.05 volts thru 15.06 volts.
2.500rpm oscillating between 14.97 volts thru 14.98 volts. :
3.500rpm at 14.95 volts.
At idle which is around 900 to 1.000rpm (jumping needle) oscillates between 13.38 volts thru 13.48 volts.
Will have to wait till I install the digital voltmeter to see if at 6.500 and further I can get a reading of 12.2 volts :smilie_happy:
Compared to...............

Haven't measured amps at this time yet since I'll have to read were to set the multimeter at properly somewhere :head bang: .

Might seem silly, but disconnect your RR by pulling the large wiring plug off and clean your plug real good and be sure it is all the way back in when you are done. (Check your grounds real good too!) I have had my RR allow the stator to run and charge really high and fry the battery because it was not reading the battery through the harness. Cleaned up the connection and have not had a problem since! (With an AGM batt too!)
