GL1100 Honda Fairing & front fender pics included

I'm selling the fairing off my 82 GL1100.

The fairing is in great shape. The paint looks good. Everything is there including the mounting hardware, turn signals, windscreen, mirrors & head lamp. I have to lock for the RH door cover. I removed the lock so I can open the door since I do not have a key. I included a close up picture of the fairing where the worst scratch is. Its the only scratch on it. Its not gouged into the plastic. It is missing the emblem off of the front of the fairing. Its black with gold pin striping.

The front fender doesn't have any damage to it but the paint is chipping away in some places.

I'd like to get $200 for the fairing. If that's too high then please make me an offer. The fender should be worth $20.

I do too. Its not that heavy but its bulky. Shipping is possible, I don't know how costly it would be though. I could remove the windscreen to make it a little smaller.

Is this fairing worth anything? I'd like to get rid of it. I've got it listed on 2 sites & craigslist & have gotten zero interest. I thought about ebaying it but the shipping is going to be the number. I'm estimating approx $100 shipping.

If its not worth the cost of shipping, then I'd be willing to give it to someone if they'd come get it. It wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't so bulky.

sheesh the times and real life situations are so bad today .... it makes free stuff to hard to get ..at least in my reality ... I hope someone is able to get this piece and it lives on for a oldwing out there

You will find that a lot of fairing are for sale, but very few are sold to people outside the seller's local area due to the shipping prices. Any fairing that I have bought has always been a local pick-up or a free freight deal because a friend or family member was going through the area on a trip home. I'd be interested if the fairing was complete, but then buying it from you would only be half the price.

I appreciate the replies. That answers my question. I'm not going to Ebay it then. I'll hang it on the wall as a display piece & then trash it when I get tired of looking at it. :mrgreen:

I'm a Falcons fan from way back. I still don't like the 9ers from all the beatings they handed Atl in the past. I was hoping GB would have pulled it out. Aaron Rodgers has put on a clinic the past 2 weeks.
