Yes right were I put it. In valve cover.
Waiting on gaskets now.
Does anybody know the sizes of the O-rings used in the carburetors.
I found this site with O-Rings. https://www.newmotorcycleparts.com/fuel_ ... parts.html
I buy mine there, never had any problems with their product..about the only thing they don't have are the carb to plenum Oring but the manifold o'rings fit good.

Well just when to clean up the valves. And guess what #1 intake is BENT. That's the one that was stuck when I remove them. So now I got to get a new intake valve.

Also is there anybody living up around the Peabody,ma. area.

I do not live in the Peabody Mass. area.

But I do have a damn good intake valve here, you can have it for just the cost of shipping.

Another question. Should I clean up the ORIFICE oil control with some sandpaper because it really gunk build up.
And here's a picture of bent valve.

I'd use solvents like brake cleaner or the like and a brass bristle brush to clean it. Sandpaper will likely change the way it fits and functions.

I didn't clean mine up at all, the O rings, which you will have to buy new, 6.5 x 1.5 & 4.1 x 1.5. keep it as a non mating surface with its surroundings.

I just made sure the holes weren't stopped up.

Well guy's wife says i'm nuts just brought another 81 full dresser not running right. I don't think I could go wrong for $300.
But I got to find somebody to haul it from Massachusetts to new jersey.
Seller that it needs carb clean. He had it running, but it was running rough. Then starter/solenoid when bad and he replace it and now bike is dead. No juice any where's. Is local Honda dealer told him dog bone fuse is bad, but he could not find it on bike. So he's selling it. Maybe I just got another headache, but you know what I will have 2 now.
I probably won't get it till after new year because of cost to ship it here.
