wow tony ...one thing for sure a steve83 resurected 1100 rats nest is a fine bike ...this is how a stock carb and tuned 1100 suppose to run ..even after several yrs of aussie dust and it seems flawless ...nice bike guys ...very impressed..... :rocks: :rocks:

From the moment Steve let me loose on his resurrected Rats Nest it has been a pleasure to ride. I can't wait for my upgraded suspension and brakes to arrive and finally be installed as this bike always puts a smile on my dial :good:

Today I went, with 5 other riders, to the Bow Glacier in the Rocky Mountains west of Calgary. It was a beautiful fall day and a great ride near the end of the riding season.

My '82 Oldwing ran excellent. It was the oldest bike there by about 20 years but had no trouble keeping up.

Brian

That's the Bow Glacier

it was time to christen the mighty ST si I got out about 7:10 this morning an did my crossed the boarder into ohio eventually ending up by the zoo. I took 25 over to us-24, cool but nice morning for a ride. I took us-24 to rt-2 then picked up us-23 and headed back to Michigan. I took I-94 west to m-52 and headed to stockbridge, mi. for the all clubs day motorcycle event, got there just before 10:30 and headed home about 13:00. I took m-106 to d-32. at dexter pickney rd. I made a left and took it to m-36 and made a right heading east. I took us-23 south and m-14 east, at Curtis rd I looked left and saluted. I took I-96 east and exited at Schafer rd. from there its about three miles to my house. one day this week I'm going to head to port huron and cross the blue water bridge and visit Canada on the mighty ST

How many miles did you travel? How does the ST compare with a GW?
I traveled 260 miles on one well not quite one tank of gas
the mighty ST doesn't quite compare to a wing, the bags are smaller, the trunk is smaller. its lighter than a wing and handles better. after riding a wing the handlebars on the might ST feel sport bike low, I'm going to add some handlebar risers later this week. the seat is adjustable for height and I've raised it up some but still feel cramped, not sure if dan would fit behind the fairing without his knees touching it. the windshield could be a couple inches wider but it is electrically adjustable for height. it will work for a touring bike for some but not all

yesterday I rode the mighty ST13 over to mom's and stopped on belle isle for a pic on the way home. the pic with the ship in the back ground was taken in ohio and the pic with the fountain was taken on belle isle

took the bad dog to a small get together of long time biker friends of mine .....me and hooch arrived late ....the place was just off a major speed hiway .....its just impossible to hide hooch anymore ....as i got close had to down from 75mph to left turn speed right in front of where i was going ...the hooch bike back down in single shot like backfire that happens every second or 2 down through the gears .....once there all anyone wanted to do was look at hooch and talk about how it was built ....this was a tough crowd ive known forever ....they have been around my oldwings before ....but not hooch in its present form ....i was not expecting such a response from the people and was shocked ......all this came from me backing down and turning into get together and i was trying to be sweet about it ...even backing down it is obvious from all this is one monsterwing....we all had a great time ....hooch ran for them great while we talked about the bike .....ive never seen so many harley guys so beamed on another bike for what it was ...made a great time for me for sure  while we had a few
