not me but i have like them always .... and rode all day with someone who had one .. all i can remember was how quiet it was ... it seemed quite fast also ... it was in very good shape

i have a chance to buy a stripped 92 st1100 for 500 bux, i am thinking do a single carb(as they are missing) and then us old gl1100 false tank, seat lower bags and small windshield like my beater?(the front fairing is gone also) i like the idea of 100 horse power but i need it to be as dependable as our old wings. might be a fun ride?

Sounds like the right price and they are a great bike. Mate has had one for ages and it cost a lot more than $500 , the only complaint he has is that it is a little tall for his short ass and that is even worse with wife/ pillion, luggage etc.
