Using Tapatalk in the forum

I've been using my smartphone as my primary contact with the forum. I'm still new to the whole thing, though. I can answer posts without issue, but if I try to initiate a new topic, I get an error

sql error [ mysql4] column topic descrition cannot be nul [1048] an sql error occured while fetching this page and it tells me to contact the system administrator.

I know there are people here using tapatalk, can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Yes there are a few using it, I tried it out on my phone after installing the plugin on the forums.
That was when it was a free app.
Guess I should take another look at it.

Dan, I got your PM, but when I opened it up, it was as if nothing was there. I could see it in the preview pane, but not otherwise. I was unable to respond, either. Weird, but must be a problem on my end.

I was able to initiate a PM.

I'm having problems also, similar to yours.

I updated the installation, looking for tweaks I have to do.

Now, I show I have 2 pms, but I don't see any new ones. When I try to load your last , I now get a message that says, "sorry, unable to access"

OK I got making a new topic working!

Still working on a little problem with PM's.
I can compose and send a new PM but can't open a received PM.
