I find it very rewarding lately with the success dan is having with his bike ...in the way I hope some others feel who have helped me accomplish the things I have ..in my case I can tell you many times the members here have move my direction in one sentence that just makes things clear as can be ... this type of forum that produces this we can never allow tarnished by people who don't fit this proven method of collaboration ... this forum seems to be self weeding of the unworkable kind that cant exist here ....

Yes successful collaberation can be as simple as being there and supporting a new idea, and as complex as taking the time and effort to go out there and find the information to validate or invalidate the idea and offering productive suggestions and keeping an open mind with no one way being the only way.
We have all done well in all respects.

I have been searching also but think this was just before the internet became popular so probably not much if anything out there. A friend in Alberta did manage to find the person that did the graph testing but he doesn't remember much about it. Still looking though.

I see the Dyno work was done at RPM Services near Calgary. The guy's name is Joe and he did some work on my '82 last fall (mounted new tires and put in new wheel bearings). He is super knowledgable, very nice guy. GW lover too.

I was planning on riding out there and showing him my single carb setup in the spring.

My friend is from Red Deer and a member of the CVMG. He had a nice chat with Joe. He's on our list of places to get work done now.

Thanks Slabghost. $20 is not too bad either.

Brian
