:help: need to find where the wire from the bottom of the oil case hooks up to the electrical connection

We need to know what bike you are asking about.
What color is this wire?

If it is a 1100 the wire is your neutral light wire.

Look up the schematics for your bike and that will tell you where it hooks up.

If he's talkin about the wire I'm thinkin about,its the black wire that is in the sump area of the lower case towards the front of the engine.

you are right. I thought it might be the neutral wire but wasn't sure. But now I need to know where it hooks up to the electrical connection? Thanks again

Check the wiring diagram. Down at the bottom center. Probably goes through a bullet connector to the connection that all of the engine switches go through.

the wire I'm looking for is green and red put having problems finding it

Not sure why really but a lot of times this wire seems gone on some bikes ..not a stop progress situation I'd say just move on you may find it while doing something else
