thanks again for all the help everyone, everyone's knowledge is very helpful and had i checked with the forum before i took a trip to phx. i could of saved $40.00 that i spent for the aftermarket speedo. Live and learn i guess. again thanks bill

after i posted the first message i went back out disassembled as much on the back as i could, took out the speedo cable and lubed the you know what out of it, shot some graphite up into the bushing that was mentioned. Put it all back together took it for a ride. no more squeal or vibration. I...

when it was making all the noise i felt the back of the speedo where cable connects, it was hotter than it should have been. I lubed up the cable, it got a little quiteier but still had the vibration.

it would be nice if that worked, i would like to get an original if i could find it, (hint hint) but did not have it with me when i was at bob's cycle, any takers let me know. thanks bill

my speedo started growling last week, then it started screaming, asked my local repair guy, he said that it was going to explode very shortly. Picked up an aftermarket at bobs cycle supply in pheonix az., it has two wires for the lights, the original one has 7 i think, what do they all go to...

for me they put the bars back too far for me and when i lifted the bars they were foo high. for me it was much better with out them, but that it just my opinion, and you know what those are like.LOL

where you at in Az. I have a set that i took off my 81 interstate. did not like them. I am in havasu. want them come and get them

Need to find a new (used) right side hard case cover for my wing. lost mine on I-40 outside of Kingman az. Nice semi- driver used for target practice. brown if possible. Thanks in advance

Hi, i am new to this type of thing as i just got my first cruise bike, there is a noise in the engineand i want to start with the valves. any help would be appreceated. thanks frippit
