    Source for valve spring compressor?

You are probably right on target but I'm going to put this bug in your head. Easy for me to do because you will be the one wrenching while I am sitting here at the computer so take it with a grain of salt... I know you said the compression is "good" but if the bike is still together, with it's...

    Swap Aspencade body to Interstate?

I only know about these differences because I have 83 Aspencade engine in my '81 Standard. Far cry from what you are asking if your not using the gauge cluster. Your buddy is going to keep his gauges and doesn't want to use the the Aspy's right? The 83 Aspy had the first digital (LCD) insturment...

    Original MSRP?

This may be a request to be lead by the hand and shown where it is already listed here, but in my defence, I DID preform a search here of "MSRP" and "Original Price". Even googled it and did not have any luck. Does anyone have a listing of the Manufactures Suggested Retail Price for our bikes...

    Summer recap.. my 81 build

:thank_you: If you look closely, it's symetrical. I used cardboard and made a template. I sat down with a drafting compass, found the center and drew out my circles for the patern, then with my ruler and divided it like a pie into 1/4's then 1/8's and finally 1/16's . Easier than doing a...

    Summer recap.. my 81 build

Yes please! Apparently I hit "save" instead of "submit" on the last message. (whew) and to answer your question, yes, I laid out the pattern and drilled the rotors myself. Also used 80g sanding disk on the drill press to resurface them before installing them with the new pads...

    Summer recap.. my 81 build

Thanks guys it sure has had it's highs and lows thats for sure! Uhm... well... Thats the difference in your knowledge base and mine, they are the ones that came with the bike, I figured they were OEM. Guess maybe now I can finally get you a right side shot and have something worthy...

    Summer recap.. my 81 build

You guy's always seem to be the last to know... but in my defence I did send Dan a pic ;) I was in the shop for several late nights, while I was waiting for the parts to finish, I threw a couple coats of paint on the shelter and side panels. Then once everything for the engine was here, I got it...
