if you had the mounting hardware I'd be in line for them for my 79 but have been looking for the hardware without allot of good luck. the few I have found look to be in horrible condition or incomplete

I was figuring 1000 was at most if the bike is in otherwise really great condition but without pics and with his description being questionable it leaves allot to wonder about. I was mostly just seeing if others thought the same as me on the deal

Bronko I want to say thank you for the videos. I have been looking at the idea of buying a gl1000 motor on ebay and rebuilding it and the videos are making me more interested in the idea.... no I am not in need of the motor just wanting to do it for the fun of it ... well that and I do know...

In the winter time I shake my head at the idiots who think the 4 wheel drive there in means they can go faster. And it becomes a duh question for them that they have the same amount of braking ability as a 2 wheel drive and in allot of cases less since they weigh more lol :doh:
