+10 on all of that, My house is filled with a million of other's ideas, I'd have a heck of a time to improve on all of it without other peoples ideas which I find on forums lol. Found a whole shipload of stuff HERE to work with! But in all seriousness (is that possible?) I too feel that...

What did you do to your Wing today ?

Sat on it and had a coffee and while cleaning out the yard and waiting for the scrap dude to show up, I figured I'd give it a crank. I have never owned anything that starts as quick as this bike does. It sat for two weeks and it didn't even really crank. Well then after I had it warmed up and...

    THANKS for your service!

Heard that! Duty is a sacred thing and without those who follow it, and sacrifice, we wouldn't have control over those who spit on other's freedoms. Never forget! R.

    Got it home.

No Joep (that sounds suspiciously like a Dutch name.) I was loaded at three this morning (Wed) and my shortest route was up through Lufkin and Texarkana. Right now I'm up in Mandeville AR. for a snooze and then off to the North early morning. I don't get to see DFW much anymore as most of my...

I meant to say 24*f not -7. But even so...clothing to suit for the season is always available. Frostbite? Full helmet and rolled up in a snowsuit lol. John.

Yup, you'd have some idea of cold up where you are, but really it is no different than snowmobiling other than that you can't do it on ice or deep snow. I used to put a couple of boxes of screws on the knobbies on my dirt bikes so we could race on the lakes, lots of fun! Regards, John.

Wuss nothing Dan, A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to get his bike home and besides, our temps up there DO get to -35*f sometimes and sometimes even colder for a few weeks so I'm better used to it than you are. Not to say its NOT freaking cold, but I've been on the go out there with ice...

    Got it home.

After agonizing for a week and a half on my last trucking trip, the '83 GL 1100 I bought was supposed to be ready to go, certified and all. Everything checked out on the bike and I was (read "was") ready to go and do the registration bit and ride off into the sunset to Montana! (Frank Zappa...
