Where is the No78 9-pin red connector from kill switch located on my 1985 Aspencade?

Would the resistors only fail when cold? Bike starts no prob if its 20c/ 72F. But not 68F

Full 12v To blk/White wire. Only use kill switch To trigger relay.

Any idea what electrical component works only heater or warmed? My experience they usually fail when heated.
