    I agree once you break a belt it's too late cheaper than ruining a perfectly good engine.

    Fuel pump

    Check it for stuck or incorrect float levels. it should shut off if it can build pressure. If you have a sinking float or stuck float or incorrect float setting, you are going to be changing the oil a lot.
