Ok I should have changed those things when I rebuilt the carbs and water pump honestly I didn't realize they was built with o-rings I thought they were threaded till I noticed them weeping when cold weather came in

Anyone ever replace the o-rings on the coolant crossover tubes on a gl1000 without removing the carbs

Put you some 80/20 tires on it they will still have that moto look but run a lot better on the pavement and are suitable for gravel I run them on everything I own

My 76 has a Kickstart the biggest thing on these bikes are the carb boots but if they are in bad shape you can replace them I can't remember if the 1100 they're removable or not but the 1,000 they're not and you have to cut them off but you can replace them with GL 1500 carb boots I have...
