does any one know if a chrome lower fairing air dam with lights from an 1100 work on a 1200.Ive seen one for sale stating it was for a 1200 but came off an 1100

Thanks guys for the info,,,,mines workig fine at 34000k i was just curious about what to expect with it. Sounds like it may even out last me ill probably put less than 5k a year on it. I just do bike shows and rides of less than 200 miles with it. I dont have to much time or money to do to much...

My 1985 gl 1200 has two markland rear light bars that have a total of 18 lights in them I noticed at night when i put on the brakes my headlight dimed slightly. I bought LED's and replaced them and it made a big difference it no longer dims the lights and it didnt cost me an arm and leg i picked...

Well if anything wed be cooking the RR the stator is at the back on the bottom in the wind but still that could still kill the stator also. I personaly like the sleek look the covers give you and to look a little different than the average bear

yes markland did make them i have a set on my 85 1200

when i purchased my 1985 1200 the tire on the back was a 190 40 15 the manual says it takes a 190 50 15 what difference does this make in handling or the drive gear ratio

Upon further investigation and reading others problems my spedo has been reading 5 mph faster than it should and my turns signals wont clear now,,,sounds like the wheel speed sensor,,, anyone know where to geta good used one ore new one
