Have you checked to make sure that the fan is pulling air through the radiator and not trying to push the air through the radiator? I had a 79 that acted the same way when I wired a handle bar switch backwards once. Brad

These are the same highway boards that are on my 86I. I like that they flip up out of the way. I'm 6'2" and wish that they would go further forward, but they do offer me a way to move my legs around while riding. Brad

There should be a couple of screws holding the inside half and outside half of the bracket together. Then the 2 pieces of the bracket straddle the crash bar between the top and bottom rails. Brad
