Ok so I have taken the carbs off for the sixth time now and did a total overhaul with randakks kit. Put the carbs on afterwards and the bike started right up! It ran pretty well then started loading up with gas again. Took the carbs off to check the floats again. I know some of the floats were...

Thanks again all. I believe I discovered part of the problem. Unbeknownst to me the float valve has a spring loaded post that makes contact with the tang on the float. All of those post things were stuck in the down position. I got them to spring again and reset the floats. Is that how the float...

Thank you for the ideas. I actually had the carbs off and taken apart and cleaned them. Boiled the whole rack until it was spanky clean. I was very anal about drying them out and making sure everything was clean. I set the floats but not sure if I got them right and I did not replace all the o...

Hi all. I got my wing running! Not very well but it runs. It back fires at the exhaust and through the carbs. It also is dumping gas into the plenum. I am not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! :beg:

Here she is with some of the dressing on. I put on the seat today and that was the first time I got to sit on my wing. Felt great.

In the process of getting the bike to turn over. Key was on, switch was on. Pushed the start button and just a click at the solonoid. I jumped the two posts on the solonoid and the bike turned over. Is this a bad solonoid?

Been working on the brakes now. Everything was froze up except for the master cylinders. What a mess. Redid all the calipers and managed to get all the pistons out and got them all cleaned up. Suprisingly they were in good shape once I got all the gunk off. The caliper walls cleaned up nicely...

Got the tank halves painted. At first they looked great then the right side paint cracked in numerous places right down to the primer. Guess I will be redoing them. At least the right side. Oh well, that's the way it goes! :crying:

Good morning! I was looking at my false tank today and saw I need pins to hold the tank sides hinge together. It appears the previous owner was using rusty old nails. Maybe I am too fussy but after all th work I am putting into my bike, I have no plans to use nails. Any ideas out ther to find...
