Well, got it opened without damaging the external portion only to find the rod that the numbers are on broken. :head bang: :head bang: Guess I will be looking for a replacement speedometer. I may try repairing this one, but fear that any repair may not hold up to daily forces that would be...

Hope this is the correct place to post the question. I have searched for the information, but have yet to find what I am looking for. My trip meter has broken and parts are rattling around inside the speedometer. Does anyone have a "how To" for opening up the speedo without damaging the thing...
