My trip meter has broken and parts are rattling around inside the speedometer. Does anyone have a "how To" for opening up the speedo without damaging the thing...

    Hi All, I am a new member here. I have owned my 1981 GL1100 interstate since 1998, after riding her for 2.5 years I had a mail truck blow through a stop sign destroying the fairing, thus totaling the bike due to the cost of replacing the fairing. I bought her back from the insurance company...
