sorry i didnt get back sooner...i had knee surgery and been down for awhile. i have a new coil and plug wire ends commin.i tried runnin it with NO resister...nope,backfire and ran like crap.that coil is the only one i had(electrinic ing one). gonna change plug wires i think to the solid core...

thankyou Joe...im using the 75 heads. they are in good shape when i got um,cleaned un up,lapped the valves in with new seals and gaskets ....ide go out and try to fire it up BUT its 2 dam hot out taday sorry the hear about your tools being stolen........you know your shit about wings....hope...
