Just intermittent problems with other lights. So do you think we should replace the starter button before we look to the ignition?

1982 Gl1100 interstate - 11500 miles. Been sitting for a long time. Runs great - Have to trip solenoid to start. Full dress package. Some lights light all of the time - others only some of the time. Fairing headlight will not come on. (Replaced, still nothing) Ignition Switch?

Just bought a 1982 Goldwing fixeruper. Slowly getting everything back together however the AM FM radio lights up and comes on but will not change channels. Any suggestions?
