Thanks to all . you never know what you will find if you go and look, when i found the wing it was under a cover and thought its was gonna look like a hunk of junk.But was i surprized, it needed work but was all there.IT still needs lots but is rideable now, and my only ride for the street ...

Sonny.it seems that is the biggest problem with these old wings is carbs getting gumbed up from sitting,Randacks carb kit is the best kit out there.I had to buy a set for my 81 do to needle being broke off in carb body then j.b welded in place.Let us know wen you get the 83 going.Thanks Bill...

Ok i put new fork seals in and refilled with atf when i go over a hole or when fork fully exstends it bangs any ideas thanks. Bill :head bang:

hello all i saw someware that rottella 15w40 worked well in the wing,and if you leeve 1 quart out and put acan of marvel mystery oil in and run it for at least 300 miles it realy cleans out the gunk. IIm gonna try that to see if it makes trans shift better . just a thaught. Bill
