Well, if that photo (little red thing, black prop) is what they're offering... then a price of $249.00 is certainly a joke. That's a motor and propeller taken from a $50 ready-to-fly RC electric airplaine. yeah, it'll generate... 4mph ain't gonna spin it... mebbie 10mph if it's TOTALLY DISCONNECTED from a load. moment you put it on a charging load, it'll stop abruptly. A REALLY GOOD idea, if a guy is towing a trailer, is to have a small automotive gel battery in the trailer, with a solar panel on the top. Here's an interesting idea for anyone who's interested... make your trailer with a GL swingarms and tires. Leave the gearbox on one side, bring the shaft out the front far enough to spin a 15A alternator that uses external field regulator. Nix the alternator's cooling fan, and set up that regulator to sense battery state-of-charge. Aside from gear drive friction, it'll present basically no drag when not charging. Set up your trailier lighting connector with an 'emergency jumper' to power the bike if your stator goes out...
