Good evening - in Osoyoos for the night. Did some video and took a couple of pics but forgot the micro SD card laptop reader thingy (technical term). Will pick one up on the way. Good days travel. Roads were good, lots of wind pushing me around. Only straight roads were coming out of Vancouver to Chilliwack. Took the #3 - Hope/Princeton and even when you have four lanes, straight sections are not that plentiful. Will update with pics when I get them off the SD card. The MapShare web site works well. This is the site: Garmin Explore™ Saw one deer and a black bear. Pretty much had the road all to ourselves, not a lot of traffic, we expected to see more. Gas prices were not too bad. Victoria was $2.319 CDN per litre at most stations, some were $2.349 CDN. Filled up in Abbotsford at $2.159 CDN per litre, good deal. Rest of the way to Osoyoos it was in the $2.159/$2.199 CDN per litre. We can live with this. Tomorrow it's off to the Frank Slide. Going to relax now. Apologize for the lack of eloquently pontificating about the first leg of the trip. Cheers
