[QUOTE="Rednaxs60, post: 225685, member: 4617"] Day 2 was another good ride. Decided not to fight the Spyder and SLOWED down, it's not two wheels. Much better ride and easier on the shoulders. Many good places to see and that will be for another trip - see something new every time I/we travel these roads. Always love the ride through the mountains, lots of variety to view and the roads are in very good condition. Had the majority of the roads to ourselves. Lots of ups and downs through the passes. Kootenay pass still had a good bit on the mountain tops and alongside the road. Was treated to seeing deer, bear and smal horn sheep. Water levels in the rivers and streams are up this year and look very cold. Won't be dipping my toes into any. Lots of people show interest in your ride and make suggestions as well. Finding there are a few new Tim Horton shops along the way. Stayed in Blairmore for the night at a Travel Lodge. Not too much to look at from the outside, but the interior was completely renovated. It was a beautiful day for a ride. Here are some pics that again show how beautiful BC is.
