Day 3 was a write off. We had planned to visit the Frank Slide and Vulcan Alberta, but the day started with rain. Discussed our options and decided to get on the road and ride until out of the rain. We'll look at visiting these two places on the way back, if not it's another road trip - these places aren't going anywhere. Had rain all the way to Swift Current Saskatchewan from Blairmore Alberta with a few Kms of no rain, but not that many. Trucks going the otherway on the two lane road(s) kicked up a good spray and every now and then some water - got smacked in the face several times. Had our wet gear on but water still seems to get into where you don't want it. No video or picture taking today. Have to start again tomorrow. Still not into the documentary mode, but have a long way to go. Tim's is a great place to meet people who are interesting, supportive and interested in your trip. mentioned this about day 2, and day 3 was no different. We have our camping gear with us, but Sonya and I agreed that this is not the time to be adventurous. Have checked the weather forecast for tomorrow. Not looking too bad, but still a possibility. Cheers
