I have some B 12 and will try it.This morning I got out the original tank from the 77 ( the one with all the big dents) and after making a holding fixture for the vise I cut the tank in half beside the seam. Evidently some PO had used Kreem tank liner probably 30+ years ago and it was nasty inside.Tank liner might be okay for a regular tank without pickup screens but in my humble opinion never in a gl tank. The plan is to get a panel beaters hammer and carefully beat out all the dents then after everything is bead blasted inside and out very carefully weld the two halves back together.I might have to cut off the screen for the reserve line because it is hopelessly clogged with tank liner and rust.I was going to scrap that tank anyway so all I am out is a little time and it might just work.
