Turned out it was the start button on mine. Don't know if yours kills the headlights while cranking or not, like the older ones, but all I did on mine was spray some cleaner up in it, and mash it repeatedly(key OFF) for a minute or so. After that, it hasn't done it again. Might as well check the connections anyway.
