C5 capable of Triggered Retard ? I run a very aggressive initial Timing while cruising , Only to be pulled back out when Hammered , Best of both worlds . and picked up 5 mpg this way . Back in 1975 i ran a CDI ignition on my big bore 1971 CB750 , still ran points back then but they would not burn so fast, Little Black box on the rear fender next to taillight 40 years ago.
