Turning the motor over slowly shows the belts getting slack a bit as valve springs work. The three sparks give them a better chance of firing at the appropriate time. The 1100's and 1200's have the timing on the crank. The problem with the 12's is the black boxes are becoming more and more rare, and the box controls timing.</p></blockquote><p></p>
