This mounting leaves about 2 feet of ramp cantilevered off the front of the trailer frame, so I have found an 8" piece of 2" square steel tubing (part of an old boat trailer frame) that will support that end directly under the front tire. Still need to determine tie points, install lights and fenders.</p><p></p><p>Also ferreted out, polished, and installed the timing hole plug that I had spun from Lucite back in 2003 when I had a '77 GL1000. If it cools down a little and doesn't feel like walking in a steam bath, plan is to check the timing with a timing light this evening. </p><p></p><p>Sure hope the forecast reduced humidity happens this week so that I can paint the side covers!</p></blockquote><p></p>
