    Split case on 1100

    Does anyone in this forum have any good ideas to install a case unto new rings. Piston holder or just fumble around in case and cross your fingers the rings slide into the bore at the bevel without breaking.

    Engine rebuild, split case.

    Well I split the case and it did have a bend rod on number 4 cylinder. Weird thing is there is no sign of the piston hitting the valves or spun rod bearing.
