Basically you're ending up with a nice 87 interstate for less than a grand! Dang. if the secret got out, and more folks knew how much motorcycle that much money is buying, the price wouldn't be that low for long.

Onwards and upwards! Stator checked out good. I got rid of the plug that was starting to show signs of heat, and it wasn't the original plug. Dog bone fuse is now gone, replaced by an inline fuse holder. I got the fairing completely back together except the lowers and they will be going on tomorrow after synch the carbs. The faux tank cover is back on, and it is starting to look like a GoldWing!

Hey, what's the saying.......NO pics, didn't happen :)

I have been a little bit derelict in that respect.

Well, dems da brakes!

I changed the fluid and got them bled, so the $500 purchase was worth it. In addition, I synched the carbs. I probably would have got more things done, but she who must be obeyed needed some things finished around the house.

Next stop, DMV!

Taking a weekend off was a good thing in more ways than one.

That's great news! Congratulations! Now if I could just find a deal like that. Naah I got plenty.

I think you have a pretty good one sitting in my shed.

Hopefully not for much longer. I'm hoping to get employed again so scheduling might pose issues but the trailer is near ready. :builder:

I am nearing the end, but there are a few things that still need to be finished. I must put the bags back on and the small reflectors on the trunk tail light just drive me nuts!

Well, after a little poking and prodding, the tail light gave up its secret. One reflector was there for a reason and the other was to make things match.

I thought I was going back to eBay, but the wife wanted her car back in the garage, :Doh2: so I had to put some things up in the attic. When I was up there, I struck Gold!

Or in this case, GoldWing

I need a few light bulbs, but the wife can get her car back in the garage. She actually saved me some money.
