I used the stock clamp and bracket after heating it to put a 90 degree twist in it.
Cut it a bit shorter to attach to the carb using one of the top cover screws. The first pic in this thread has a picture.

I used the shaft from the oe choke operating mechanism,i still owe you a pic,ill have to get you one tomorrow evening

If I get a chance, I will put mine out in the snow for a few hours and then give it a try. It is currently 29 degrees here and last night I started her up in the garage which is at around 42 degrees. Started right up.
Okay, just as I promised. I left the bike outside. It is 28 degrees (engine is also 28 degrees shown by my Thermal reader). Open the gas valve, pull the choke all the way out, tap the start button and instant start! No throttle twist needed! :Egyptian:

yep rather sweet Gerry ....the biggest thing I can tell is the lag time in the running position ...even in a great running stock example ...with the weber set up ...even at idle it sounds different ..and the running problem of the two systems have nothing in common

yep your daughter put together one of the best running stock oldwings on the forum ...and it started out as poster bike of the knocker club ....sheeesh there good   :smilie_happy:
