That is a marine grade fuse holder so I'd think it should be good quality. The fuse is the main for the whole bike so it will get hot.
I'd solder the connections for now and keep an eye on it.
Trying to find the better fuse holder I used but it's getting hard to source the good stuff.
Loose crimps could cause it to get hot. I'd solder the connections and try that.
Whenever I had a leak with those seals I cleaned the seal and mating surface with brake cleaner and applied high heat silicone, the orange stuff then let it set a day to cure. Never had a problem after.
Not really conflicting. You do need to adjust the pilot screws first, but the carbs need to be synced after. May even have to readjust the pilot screws after sync.
