It was a 1985 Aspencade with about 77K miles for $2100. I think it would've been a good bike, but it's not the only one out there. :cool:

Thanks! Great minds must think alike; I actually had already set up an appointment to see one of the bikes on that list. I'm cautiously optimistic--I'm going to have my wife with me to drive the car home and I'm bringing my helmet with me... :cool:

The more I think about it, I think it is probably better. I don't mind doing the work, i can do most everything myself (especially with help here!) and I have a wife who indulges my hobbies as far as $$ goes, but the more I thought about the bike the worse I felt. I don't mind finding a bike...

It's kinda strange--the first think I thought when I brought home my Roadstar was, "I need another bike"!! I tried to talk my wife into letting me buy one for her, but she's perfectly content for now to be a passenger... I had never heard of MBS but now I'm afflicted with it.
