A Newbie Without Wing(s)

Greetings All! I'm a new member and wanted to introduce myself. I surfed into the site from Google a few weeks ago and love what I see. I currently ride a 2003 Yamaha Roadstar 1600 and am very interested in adding a classic Goldwing to the clutter in my garage. Until I'm able to do that, I'll lurk around here and learn all I can. I hope to be able to contribute in the near future...

Thanks for all the welcomes! I just had a chance to buy a 1983 Interstate, but he wanted too much money for the condition the bike was in. I actually posted three pics in a thread asking for purchase advice in the restorations section.

It's kinda strange--the first think I thought when I brought home my Roadstar was, "I need another bike"!! I tried to talk my wife into letting me buy one for her, but she's perfectly content for now to be a passenger... I had never heard of MBS but now I'm afflicted with it.

The guy about 50 miles away with the 85 Aspencade flaked out on me, but I found a 1983 Interstate about 150 miles away that looks to be in excellent shape. The owner is selling because he just bought a new Goldwing. The wife and I are going for a long ride this Sunday, so I might point the bike north and kill two birds with one stone and look at this one. I'd have to buy it and leave it there for a week until I could come back and get it... I'll update soon...

Not to count the chickens before they're hatched, but this is the bike...
