I recently experienced a faulty air shock on the right side of my 1980 gl1100. I decided to purchase the progressive 4124222c pair of rear shocks instead of the air ride. I am having difficulty mounting them up. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong, but the shock just seems about 1/2"...
