Home made manometer for carb sync

I didn't use any valves. I save the plastic cones from silicon tubes for vacuum plugs. I got 4 of those and cut off the tips and they slid right into the end of the hose. I could shove them in farther, but they won't slide back out. I drilled 1/16" in the point. Easier to drill the hole before I...

Home made manometer for carb sync

Just in case.... I made a carb sync tool using hose from my o2 machine because I thought it would be the perfect size, and it was long enough to do whatever I wanted. Then I couldn't figure out why the "thing" wouldn't hold vacuum. I guess it's made to not collapse when in use. Unfortunately...

    Changing the Oil

Not to mention completely different types of bearings. I've always wondered about that. HD's have roller bearings and needle bearings. But GW's have both plain and roller that share the same oil, don't they? Hmmm, wish I had more info on what's happening to the different types of bearings under...

    Changing the Oil

For the Goldwing, I gave in to what ever oil makes my clutch work smooth, and my starter clutch engage. Right or wrong, I let the motorcycle decide. And that meant 2 oils for 2 motorcycles. :moped:

    #%^&%$# Window 8

I'm still using XP. Our house computer came with 7 on it and I hate it. I can't find anything I'm looking for until I either forget what I was looking for or just give up. Why oh why does every new version have to have a completely different and unfamiliar face lift! Everything in 7 has been...

    oil filter

There are the effects of contaminates and oxidation that chemically attack the oil. If whatever is in the oil bottle when new "breaks-down" after some time in an engine such that it will not pass the same tests as new oil, then that oil has experienced "wear".
