Does anybody have a recommendation for engine paint? I would like to stick as close to possible to the original color, but it doesn’t have to be perfect. I usually order my paint through Summit Racing but all they seem to have is silver metallic. Thanks, Chris

All of the covers I can find for the 76 LTD come with the strap but no buckles. At least the buckles aren’t pictured. I think I’ll do what you said and check with the vendor. Thanks!

Okay... in my INFINITE wisdom, I did a search for 1976 GL1000 LTD seat cover and lo and behold, thar she is! Now I need to find a strap and hardware... anybody have that stuff laying around? My seat is totally without strap.

Charging system is gonna have to wait till I put it back together. Everything else works, so as it is reassembled everything will be cleaned and checked. And my fingers will be crossed as far as the charging system.

Thanks. Yea, I fully expect to take all of the electrical off of the bike but I wanted to make sure everything works before I do. That way, when it doesn’t work on reassembly I’ll know I’m the idiot that screwed it’s up.
