    Well I did it again..MBS strikes.

    Earlier in the week I drove 200 miles from my place in Durango CO to Espanola NM to pick up a "parts bike." I knew the engine didn't turn over but it was cheap.     Newbie Question... Rubber thing on sidestand.

    I feel stupid asking but it must be important because the book says to replace the rubber thing on the sidestand when it wears to the mark. What is it for? Another question, is it possible to adjust the sidestand for a bit more lean angle? Mine is too straight up? This is only day three of me...

    Day two she fired up....

    Yesterday I dragged home a 1982 GL1100 Standard. The bike has sat in a car port since August 2009. I tried to start it without first draining the fuel. I managed to foul two plugs. Today I drained all the gas and the float bowls. I put in four new plugs and it fired up. I wanted to warm it up...
