    78 GL1000 with Comstar wheels. I'm replacing the xx year old tires with new and want to know if I need to use tubes. Randakks web site says yes for all GL1000 but is it really necessary with the Comstar wheels? It looks like the current tires do not have tubes but as I recall, Honda delivered...

    Wanted - 78GL1000 Headlight Retaining rings (Bucket forward)

    Have a 78 GL1000. There is probably 3-5 seconds lag (maybe more) in the time for the tach to catch up with the engine revs. No idea as to its accuracy.
