ok, so here is a dumb question...how hard would it be to remove a fairing from an 82 Interstate and just go to plain headlight and turn signals? The reason I am asking.....I dropped mine on a ride Friday night and broke the plastic on inside of fairing and scratched the heck out of the outside...

Is the wiring and fitment the same for 81 and 82 Goldwing Interstate speedometers? My 82 has stopped working(except odometer) and I have an 81 that I traded for....will the wiring match up? Thanks in advance Ron

I've got the usual paint fading on the tank and scratches from years of use, but overall not too bad. I have chrome valve covers and engine covers coming.

Just found this forum...My name is Ron and I just purchased a 1982 Gold Wing Intersate this past weekend. This is my second Gold Wing, I had a 1983 before and sold it and was sorry ever since. This one needs a good tune up and valve adjustment which I'm fixing to do today.
