    Readable electrical diagrams

    Wiring diagrams in the original service manuals are at best tough to see. Too small and very fussy when enlarged. Hayes manuals are not much better. Don't have access to Clymer. Has anyone taken the time to use a good drawing program and reproduce the diagrams? Onto multi-page documents. that...

    Torque specs

    Got new water pump into cover, orings in right places, gaskets all scraped off and cover mounted. Nowhere in the book does it mention torque specs. and tighten sequence for the cover bolts Can anyone help? Thanks Moe

    GL1100 tear down

    Tank's out. Cap and seal seem all right. Sending unit looks good and tests out OK. Screens are rusted off the pickup tubes. Poured about a cup of rust and debris out onto floor. This tank will need some serious cleaning. Got the rest of the plastics off Long day

    Picked up a well used GL1100A 87,000 Km on it. Has not been run for at least 10 years. Good winter project. :moped:
