If the rubber tips of float needles have been allowed to dry out during long term storage, they will cause a leak like this until they have swollen up a bit with fresh gas in carbs for 48 hrs or so.

If it's a minor pilot jets fouling you may be able to fix it by running a couple tank fulls of non ethanol gas with a shock treatment level of Yamaha Ring Free additive. I have found it works far better than sea foam for minor carb fouling problems.

I think the 84 prelude pump will work. I used on my 86 1200 with success, bought at Autozone. I suspect any 12 Volt diaphragm design fuel pump used in mid 80s 4 cyl cars of 1600 cc displacement or so will work. Try to buy one with less than about 5 psi max outlet pressure.
