I found $30 worth of red LED light strips(15" each) for only $5 at the local flea market. These were the only two decent pics. I think they look great...too bad I rarely ride at night.

I put them on the rail that runs along the seat and under the trunk. I hooked them up to the same switch in the faux tank that's connected to the LEDs under the carbs.

I like them and plan to add some to my bikes but I'm not in the camp of those who think it will be safer. It doesn't matter how shiny or bright or loud the bike is. Few in traffic if any will ever see you. Most can't see a firetruck with lights blazing and siren wailing. :head bang:

You got that right I don't trust anyone to see me.

What are the best and cheapest led light bulbs for standard light fixtures?
Considering LED light bulbs to replace 60 Watt Incandescent bulbs. I like the efficient technology, but get sticker shock when I see the prices in at Home Depot and Lowes. The pay back will take a long time and usually the manufacturers product life expectancy is only theoretical.
