air compressor

I am in the process of taking my compressor apart to get it to work. Does anyone know what the white plastic plug does. it is not connected on my bike

Haven't looked at mine for a while..

What do you mean by "plug"? Electrical or pnuematic?
If it's electrical, possibly 12V to aux terminal or switch to the console. I remember the electrical connections are not so straight forward, a bit counter intuitive.
