Back Rests

In my quest to sell my 1000 parts I am also always looking for things to improve my 1100 and maybe even add a 1200... but that is a different subject! :heat:

I have had a back rest on my bike for some time now that is brown, and while it worked, it just didn't look right.

It is kind of weathered and ready for a face lift and I was going to do just that, and then I saw BigBro throw up a For sale add with this one on it:

It even comes complete with the logo:

Boy oh boy, I am ridding in comfort now (I feel like I'm on my recliner), and it is even black! Not that it matters, but what kind is it?

Should be an OEM Honda with that logo on it. Don't know what year but it looks great and comfy.

Ohhhhhhhhh I LIKE IT . . . the 83 I just bought has the first Backrest I have ever had .... they are nice .

Oh Brian, That looks really good.

I am glad you enjoy it. The box of parts I saved from the trash pile/picked up said everything was for a 1981 Interstate.
Some of it definitely was/is.

There is only one challenge I dug around in there and I found some NOS parts from what appears to be a 1979 1000.

I am at my other home in Eastern Oregon for the balance of this week.

Once I return I will post some pics to list some of this other stuff for others.
Since I ride an 84 Interstate these parts are not useful to me.

I just hate seeing useful things go to waste.
