I seem to remember when I tore the bike down 5 years ago,the brake pedal was a pain to remove with the engine in the frame.now upon reassembly I wonder if I should install the pedal first and then the engine,or is it feasible to install the pedal with the engine bolted in.your thoughts?

Joe's right again.

I'm doing a ground up rebuild also, and the only thing I left on the frame was the brake pedal.

That thing is a PITA to get off even with the engine out.
